Focusing Light

Focusing Light

Helping the women and children of Zambia
break the cycle of poverty and abuse.

 light came into Kaila’s life
with help from I AM ZAMBIA…

“When I was 2, my parents divorced. My mother could not support my brother and me, and no family members were willing to help. I was always scared I would have to go to the street to get money because I didn’t have any skills to get a job.”

“My silver lining was I AM ZAMBIA. When everyone else gave up on me IAZ played a huge role in developing my skills, self-confidence, and dedication to my schooling.  I am a graduate of their computer science program and am working towards an associate degree through BYU Pathways.”

I AM ZAMBIAN
I AM LIGHT

 you can bring the light…

Light, to be powerful, must be channeled.

At I AM ZAMBIA, we channel our resources to vulnerable populations. Women and children in these communities struggle with the weight of generational poverty, abuse, and lack of resources.

With the help of donations, volunteers and lots of love, I AM ZAMBIA gives them the structure and safety to light their way to a different and more positive outcome.
